Well all I can say is fishing is red hot now. On Sat. the Sherman Gambill group showed up for a great day of fishing. We fished around the 90' drop all day and ended up with dolphins, a wahoo and 2 blackfin tunas, the total weight was 586lbs of fish. On Sunday fishing slowed just a little, the group still managed to wack 351lbs of dolphins. Monday Sonny Williams and his friends showed up and it was on again we stopped fishing at 1:00 and had 375lbs of dolphins. I'm headed out again on tues. Sorry I've not had much to report. We've been bluefin tuna fishing but not had any luck. Saturday the weather was great so we decided to fish all day and spend saturday nite and fish again on sunday. We where trolling along sat. afternoon and the outrigger came crashing down, it pulled some drag then it stopp[ed. We thought we had one , we started winding the line in and the downrigger went off. He dumped about a half spool off the 130 reel, we cleared the line and the fight was on. After about 30 min. we got it to the boat to find out it was a mako shark. We where only 14 mile off the beach, so we gaff the fish and put it in the boat. It was almost dark so we anchored out for the nite. We caught black sea bass all nite while we were watching the football game. Went to sleep around 11, so we could get up at 5. We trolled the next day and manged to catch a 20lb gag grouper. That just shows you their is no telling what you might catch when you go fishing.I forgot the mako was 70" long and weighed about 150 lbs.
